The Emergency Crash Axe is an aircraft safety equipment, which consists of a hardened steel base body and a hard rubber handle. The part fullfills the requirements for flame resistance and electrical insulation.
A customized plastic holder is also available to fix and position the Crash Axe into the aircraft.
